@RedCedar - YOU can be trusted to be 'on the pulse' - Jung and all that, have friend who is in the end-phase of emphysema, so painful daily discussions (on the phone) and he believes in the (biblical) Apocalypse, he knows I don't, so careful wording is essential . . . so will be interesting to find out what Jung has to say - also my now deceased daughter was involved in a modern-day version of Jungian philosophy, did exams in it, had clients she counselled, on top of her musical activities.

I have been having useless discussion on the HC politics threads, paused yesterday due to bad case of 'flu' - overwhelming tummy pains, temperature, etc. but today 'healing phase' - and feeling strong again - in fact I had this low-level unwellness going on for a while, but now know it's over and done with! Yippee!

I will read your link tonight, as I am desperately trying to get in tune with what is going on in this our very confused world, before my departure, hopefully - if not, there might be some revelations to be hoped for in the after-life.

I have also been watching 'The Leopard' on Netflix now. It is very very beautiful, fairly close to the book - a bit too much Opera - don't think Sicilians of that day were into opera, but don't really know - I guess it's different now, that they are part of Italy.
I am going give some Australian-Italian women I know and knew when they were little girls (play mates of my children) the insider tip about this Netflix movie; it's brilliant; in fact it is so overwhelming, I cannot binge-watch it, have to take it in dietary restriction.
    Ciao
