I can't see how Canada Lithium is ranked highr than Galaxy. The mine in Canada is measured with 0.92% LiO2 and its plant is only 50% complete. I'm guessing 1 or 2 years away from meaningful production.
Talking about M&A possibility however, I find the ECE deal a bit worrying. Would any buyer be interested in offering 70 or 80 cents knowing that 130million share is to be offered at 50c? On the other hand, the ECE deal would not be necessary is Galaxy is to be acquired by a company with much stronger cash posiion. So if I were Rockwood and truly interested in GXY, would it not be better for me to make an offer now so that I can get the current shareholders support and vote out the ECE deal?
Or could it be that the ECE deal itself is another strategy Iggy is playing so that the company would not be taken over?
