When I c&p'd a report on a scientific paper on ocean temperatures,

    lrj(version2) responded

"Dr. Barnett's claim that his (the Scripps) model's good prediction of ocean temperature measurements has settled once and for all the "truth" that global warming is overwhelmingly man made, is not a view shared by other equally reputable and qualified specialists."

lrj then c&P'd a commentary by Benny Peiser, a social anthropologist. Just the sort of "equally reputable and qualified" specialist you would seek out to appraise marine physics. Benny didn't mention oceans in the c&p. And lrj's response?

"Wouldn't have a clue and am not particularly interested."

Such standards of logic might suffice for lrj, but it sure was a "pants down" experience for Prof Bellamy when he took the "expert" advice of a former architect turned nutter. Perhaps lrj could post a rebuttal by an equally reputable and qualified specialist. I shall look forward to it; after all, lrj did suggest more that one specialist, so he should have a choice of articles to post.
