As the legendary investor Ben Graham once said, "In the short run the stock market is a voting machine, in the long run it's a weighing machine". I think eventually fundamentals catch up with the voting machine and new long term trends begin when new significant business conditions emerge as we have seen with Mayne Pharma over the years.
I have posted this chart just to show what possible new trend is beginning and why, but there will be missed steps and back tracking along the way.
