reporting the actual date still would not solve the problem in this age of instant communication.
To report that a certain accident happened on Oct 4 in Australia when that can be read and heard by millions almost instantly in the US o Oct 3 means whoever reported the accident on Oct 3 could "foresee" (in this case, a day ahead) the future, and that is the essence of my question :-)
