Also don't discount the Dalby west tenement. This tenement will hopefully find a bit of coal and possibly thick seams and closer to the surface than the other tenements. You know in 2008 Linc Energy did a bit of drilling (10 drill holes) next door to that tenement and discovered 4 seams. Kogan, Macalister Upper, Macalister Middle and Macalister Lower.
The Macalister seam had an average thickness of over 6 metres.
They announced a 146 million tonne inferred resource and only included the Macalister Upper seam in the resource.
Metrocoal's Dalby west tenement is also only about 10kms from Peabody's Wilkie Creek coal mine.
