‘QGC, a BG Group business, is seeking approval from the Queensland and Australian governments for a substantial project to help unlock Queensland's reserves of coal seam gas for domestic and export markets.’
‘The project is well underway and, pending approvals, construction on a liquefaction plant with two processing units, or “trains”, is scheduled to begin in 2010, ahead of first delivery of LNG in 2014.’
Interesting target of 2014 for delivery. That’s if all goes well! IMO It’s all coming together for LNG who will already be producing 2 years + before Curtis Island comes on line.
