Anyone who tries to predict when a bubble will burst is asking for trouble. If you get it right, it's purely by chance.

That being said, prices did fall in Feb nation wide and March may show further falls.

Personally I'm not even sure that the bubble will burst. If our economy stays strong we may only have a small fall followed by years of stagnation. This is the outcome I'm hoping for. I think everyone will suffer if Australia's property bubble bursts quickly.

I have nothing against people buying a home for themselves if they can afford it and the price is worth it to them. I am just opposed to wild price speculation and excessive leverage. These things have caused so many problems in the past that we should have learned by now to avoid them.

Well that is my position restated (again).
