I also have deeply held negative views about STB's challenges but I think the shares are well undervalued.
Eritrea an awful place to build a big capex project.
Eritrea off limits to many big potash companies.
STB no experience in a project of this size and nature.
STB no experience in potash (other than as a successful explorer)
STB too small to credibly raise the money needed.
But there is a great project there for the right buyer and the minimum price on a potash project of this size and quality even in Eritrea likely to be in the $100-$200m range which makes STB's 40c per share with $20m cash ridiculously cheap. The buyer or development partner for the project will be found and those patient enough will see sp back over $1 maybe over $2.
