Lion Selection Group Limited is pleased to advise that it has been
included in the S&P/ASX 300 Index, effective from 1 January 2003. The
S&P/ASX Index is one of the main indices monitoring companies on the
Australian Stock Exchange.
Robin Widdup, Lion's Managing Director, said inclusion in the S&P/ASX
300 Index would increase the visibility of the company and enable
index-based funds to include Lion in their portfolios for the first
time.
"Lion will now be on the radar screen of a new group of investment
funds," Mr Widdup said. "With Lion's exposure to gold in a
strengthening gold market and with many of our investments climbing
the maturity curve, we could be in for some interesting times."
