    That's exactly right. Everything is only worth what someone is willing to pay.
    The reason I like to see a price is to filter out overpriced properties. Perth has dropped in price - but people think they can still get what they might have been appraised at, or what their neighbours sold for 3 years ago. Unfortunately for them - it's wishful thinking.
    I've put several offers on properties which have sold for less or roughly equal to my offers some 12 or so months later. People are just stubborn - and they shoot themselves in the foot most of the time by letting their property go stale on the market.
    It's not time to buy yet anyway imo- I just like to keep my eye in.
