Google NFC. Near field coms is what I think contact less pymts use. Cards use emv chips I think at the mo from memory.

So ph has bio template stored and card acct details, u buy something, the store reader asks for id, u selfie, approves pymt via NFC.

Same technique as Apple fingerprint Id for pymt.

Fido separate I wood suggest but u wood think not too hard...docomo has fido approval for their iris scanner already.
