plastic is going the way of cash i think with respect to purchases....It would be a wise move to go the way of an app for mastercard which could be verified via a scan?

like when u do a third party payment thru ur bank they send u a verification code via text, you could make an online payment, enter ur card details and then verify via a scan thru the app for a code to enter online? it would be another step but much added security...

you can tap phones these days to send payments p2p so this seems the next logical step for cards...much like when u need cash out and u havent got ur card u can get a code on ur phone and get cash that way at an ATM...
