Mrs CC had a Jack Russel we used to take to races at a Jack Russel racing club in Sydney, but old age got the better of her a year or two back. She wasn’t pure bred, there was a bit of wolf or something in her though. We’re on acreage, so we had a hidden fence around the gardens, like an underground electric wire around the perimeter that would send an electric shock to a device attached to her collar if she crossed it, but it beeped if she got close as a warning. Sounded great in theory. Once a week she absconded and a helpful neighbour would eventually return her. Great way to meet the neighbours although some of them asked if we could chain her up so she didn’t terrorise their kids so much. Good luck with Lucky, you are going to need it. Me, I don’t know about Rabbits, we just have a cat now.
