Hi Kahuana,

A very lenghty and well thought out post, you must have spent a lot of time putting it together. Certainly raises the bar for imformative posts on this site.

BUT one thing, to me, remains a little unclear.

What will the Mauritanian Government do when it finds out that the results of the progress wells have not been fully disclosed...??? They are an Islamic republic.

Do you really think, long term, its in the best interest for WPL to go down this particular route of limited disclosure to hoodwink the Government for there oil...

Hmmmm, I am thinking about the current situation in Timor where WPL has now stated that they will not proceed with development until all the issues are ironed out with the Timorese government. The International Courts, when they get involved may be asked to arbitrate... If that happens then there wont be any oil comming to the surface for some time...

Just my comment for whats its worth.

I can see why they may want to hide there results from circuling preditors BUT the Mauritanians may not be the best people to try and foul.
