The technology problem is a self creating paradox.

There is one economy which is the people, take the jobs or enough jobs away from the people and they will not be buying the technology.
The more jobs that are lost the more money that is taken out of the economy and the less money spent buying technology.

It gets to a point as we are seeing now. Unless the people earn more money then they will not buy technology and growth stalls, and economies sink.
CB's and governments can create as much QE as they like but unless it goes into the pockets of the people you will not see a lift in GDP or the only lift you will see for a while is the QE.

There is one economy and that is the people, if the people dont supply enough money to the economy then new technology will not be bought.

That is the paradox, put the people out of work and that will put the companies out of operation.
Wonderful technology may well see economies bankrupted and because of that a lot of technology may not come to fruition.
