My guess is that yesterday was a combination of early profit-taking ahead of the drilling, small traders having their stops hit which exaggerated the fall and an exodus of T+3 traders who bought last Friday expecting news early in the week. There may also have been an element of people selling the higher risk stock and buying the safe one.

Its all conjecture of course but I doubt that it had anything to do with WPL dirctors.
