many baby boomers will keep property as an income stream. NOT ALL have no super or cash investments.
in fact many of the houses on the market now could be those selling into retirement.
this means: a) maybe a boom in smaller homes and retirement villages and, b) some bargains for smart buyers and of course, c) bears missing the boat AGAIN! LOL d) wishing i bought a nursing home in 1995! (i was to young)
who knows I'm only guessing: none of us know, and the true answer will lie somewhere around 2025.
