Labor's infatuation with Keneally is truly odd.

She was parachuted into the NSW Premiership, and went on to preside over Labor's biggest election loss in NSW history.

She was defeated in the Bennelong by-election at the Federal level.

She was hand picked as a replacement for Dastyari for a NSW Senate seat at the Federal level.

She got onto the shadow front bench because Husic resigned for her.

She became part of the Senate leadership because Farrell resigned for her.

She seems to keep getting the path cleared for her internally, but when she faces the voters, it doesn't usually end all that well.
