    I remember buying into BSG when all it had was a slag heap in Georgia (former-USSR). That was considered to be quite a reasonable thing to buy, back then. And that was only 2002/3.

    Now, we have these magical companies, which have conjured 1m, 2m, 5m oz of resources out of nowhere!

    Anyway, back then Palmerejo was a seriously good prospect. It was also 5-6 years away from production, which people thought was a lifetime in 2002.

    I've tried very hard to like the CXC-BSG merger, however ole Disco-Dennis Wheeler is such a typical Idaho mining spiv, that I see every underperformance by CXC as typical, rather than surprising. Over my years of watching Coeur D'Alene, my overall impression has been: surprises on the downside. The share price does, too.

    They have loads of silver, however I'd be cautious with this one, punters.
