i think this is the year OEMs have to pull the trigger considering nickel prices have normalized, we are ahead of a hockey stick moment in terms of global EV demand and if they start now, we'll get fully ramped by 2028-2029. also, this trend of baning ICE cars is accelerating. Tesla is eating everyone's lunch and lowering prices: basically saying "you can do Evs, but you wont make money here". the only way out of this is to verticalize and try to gain a lower cost basis on the battery side.
