Just bought my first E.V, page-17

I own about 50 times as much ALB as I do INR. I am watching the LTR forum with great interest. The shareholders there do seem to be violently against a buyout from ALB. They kind of remind me of where my head was at last November when ALB was trading for $325 per share and there was speculative discussion about rumors of an oil company looking to buyout ALB. At the time I said I would vote no to a $500 offer as ALB is growing sales volumes at 20% to 25% per year for the next decade and the stock is worth more than that. Yet here we sit today with an ALB share price of $184 (and with INR at A$0.255).

In my case it was just speculative, but I hope the LTR shareholders don't find themselves in the same situation. IF no higher offer comes in for them, THEN at best they have pulled forward a SP that will take them a few years to grow into. So the opportunity cost of not taking the offer and reinvesting it in another winner could be large. Even if they will be fine holding pat in the long run.
