just cruising?

After last week's excitement Anvil returned to a historicaly strong price area.
Still somewhat below recent high of 65 cents.

Miningnut has indicated that next week should bring some announcements worth waiting for.

Certainly the quarterly report is due.
Do not think this will stimulate buying of such a nature that share price will take off.

The suggestion is that quarterly report will be more of a technical tonnage report with financials to follow following month.

Whatever!
Quarterly report due late next week - pre stage 2 production - is not likely to be of such substance that engenders a buying frenzie.

Reports that could stimulate the market and push share price would be ----
1. Resource upgrade from exploratory drilling.
2.A Gecamine resource (or two) agreement with Congo Government.

The upgrade announcement is overdue and should be released soon.
The Gegamine agreement - or two - was expected to be finalised some time ago. As such one can't expect the announcement at any specific time. Could drag on for months yet? Not that that is the message I'm getting! But the bottom line - unless one has up to date personal information from Anvil management - is to be patient. Will happen when it is ready to happen.

The certainty is that Stage 2 is pushing profits to new highs. - High highs!
When these profits are confirmed (fourth quarterly report in January 05?) share price will continue to strengthen.

So as for next week?
No evidence that the break through reports are likely next week.
Then again a week can be a long time in a market!
