Just, Fair and Reasonable comment

It is disappointing that so many threads about this Company (GGG) and the country of Greenland, where the company has been active for over a decade, are repeatedly trashed by unhelpful and inaccurate comment by a few, at the expense of both the people of Greenland and the shareholders of GGG.

The most recent change of the company's position in Greenland, was not because all the people of Greenland suddenly took a dislike to the company, it was the result of a democratic election, where from my understanding of the published outcome, the following position resulted-
41,126 people were eligible to vote in the election.
27,109 people (ie 65.92%) of those people eligible to vote took part in the election.
Of those 27,109 people who voted, 26,528 cast valid votes. (581 votes were invalid).
Of those 26,528 valid votes, two parties IA (with 9,933 votes obtained 12 seats) and Naleraq (with 3,252 votes obtained 4 seats) to be able to form a democratically elected coalition government.
This equates to a total of 13,185 votes enabling a governing coalition to hold 16 of the availability 31 seats.
Based on those results 13,185 people of the eligible 41,126 electors, being 31.19% of those that voted, enabled a new coalition government to (unless challenged and proven otherwise) lawfully change a mining policy.

That change may or may not be subject to a judicial challenge. That result does not mean that all the people in Greenland supported the change, it means that 13,185 voters enable the coalition to make the change. The support for the two major parties shows a difference of opinion on many matters in the country, not just mining. Nothing is gained for the people of Greenland or the shareholders of GGG by name calling, colour coding or making unsubstantiated assumptions as to how and why the people of Greenland voted. Being just, fair and reasonable in making comments has some possibly of reconciliation being reached, constant trashing doesn't.
