This private company appears to have been founded back in 2016. I'd say at the start of the 2016 lithium run when everyone began looking for new lithium deposits.
Klaus is already on other boards and acting as a consultant of several more. I personally don't think this is anything to worry about. It doesn't appear they have made any inroads in the clay brines in any case.
