yep, fully agree with that ------------ managing a $100 mil company and managing a billion dollar company is chalk and cheese.
For the immediate risks imo ------------------------- sales - quality of staff ---- staff selection - CRITICAL.
Also a KEY person in the organisation from here on it - for management of contracts, CONTROL OF SUPPLY LINE and the resultant 'margins' -
is our new recruit -- Aaron Krech
Control of supply lines --------------- THAT is what really drives the margin and hence the profit - the role is critical - CRITICAL.
For Nick - which is a hell of a big ask - as he is busier than a blow fly in a Vegemite glass - recruiting the right staff is a really really important task - and a not to easy one.
My partner has had a lot to do with staff selection and control of supply lines for dozens of companies over the years - and very very few get it right - but, the one's who do ---------- the profit is huge ------------- for one's who get it wrong --------------- oh dear.
It is crucial for AJX at this stage of the game to get a system and get it right ------------- down the track if you have to fix things - it is a real bugger.
Thankfully, hopefully, we will never have a large staff - ie. not 10,000 etc.. - but, no matter what the number - bad choices result in very bad bottom lines and lots of mess - good choices result in very good bottom lines and shareholders needing liver transplants - a very desirable situation.
It's going to be one hell of a ride in the next 2 years ------------- if people think the last few months have been good -------- well, expect more
