Labor is concerned for good reasons. People are watching and paying much higher energy costs. They are watching mass immigration go through the roof contributing to stress within the system. They know its only a matter of time before this green dream hits the reality wall and blackouts start. The govt is now taxing people / using more debt to send $300 cheques to punters in order to placate their anger over energy bills. The public knows the govt won't do this every year these higher bills turn up. Australia should have safe, cheap endless baseline power. Its politicians and skillless green cranks who have driven us to this point. All the Teals, hanger-on's companies and donors living off taxpayers cant get enough. Their business plan is based on importing our hardware needs from places like China. Hardly a close friend. They don't like having to like us for iron ore, coal or other commodities. Albo flaps on about building industries in Australia. The guy is an idiot. He is part of the left union movement which has helped drive costs higher. You can't start a manufacturing business in Oz with these embedded costs. It's another fantasy media release. It costs $55 per hour for a waitress. 55% of the cost of fuel at the pump is the govt taxes. Now these tools want to raid saver's super funds and tell people that they 'don't pay their fair share'. Politicians just gave themselves their second pay rise since being elected.
Labor are worried that the public will wake up one day and call them out. The waste and failure of big govt is everywhere you look. The NDIS is yet another example of incompetence and crime.
We dont need half a trillion dollars worth of subs to prop up unionised shipbuilders. We could use hundreds of upgradable high-tech loitering sea drones for a fraction of the price. Labor needs to go. If we all woke up and told the govt to build this stuff, then both sides of politics would do what was right for the Nation and not their careers and hip pockets.
