I like sharp drops as it burns the hot money and flushes all the stop loss using born to lose investors. they then aren't around to sell into the next great announcement and the pop is stronger and more consolidated. It also causes shorts to load up thinking it's the big one finally and get burnt AGAIN... eg eBay USA if that happens.
