The only reason I can see for today's move is that the consolidation does indeed bring in some new institutional buyers (probably from abroad) that perhaps were not allowed to buy a 43 cent stock, but are allowed to buy a $2 stock.

As simple as this sounds (and as dumb as it is as the SP does not reflect MC) this seems to be the main reason. It went down or was steady after the AGM.

Anyway, I'm not complaining as picked up a few more at $2.15 or the old 43 cents this morning.

Maybe management do know more than us shareholders after all
