Yes you are right in what you are saying. I would like to be more positive, and I will try.
We had planned to retire this year, after being in business for the last 24 years. With a wonderful retirement. We did protect it but could not protect it all, bad advice from our adviser, as well as not realizing it would get this bad.
WE were going to sell our business to one of our employees, but now he has cold feet, as business is terrible.The question we have to decide on ourselves, is do we continue, and sign up for a further five years or sell for a loss have a lesser retirement than we were expecting. We have had a lot of ups and downs but it is quite a worry as you get older with health issues. We will have to come to a decision very soon but, I have never felt like this before.
Daughters don't realize the severity to me.
