I think it was first being worked on around the year 2000, but Twinvest or DS can correct me here. So we're close to 15 years so far, and that's probably not too bad. Interesting to see the different issues being addressed and surmounted over the last few recent years. I paid my first visit to the Brisbane labs in July of 2011; I remember Joe saying that prospects wanted Anteo to develop blockers, and he said to us "but we don't need blockers". Nevertheless, that's what prospects wanted, as that was what they were used to.
Now look at the capabilities today - e.g. "the surface you want on the surface you have" (see riverbrae's post above). And the substantial progress in developing business with the two POCs. So I think Anteo is doing quite well. Let's face it, the technology is a bit more complex than a gluestick. As I think about it, the whole business and technological vision of the company has expanded dramatically, and I see no pause yet in that rate of expansion .
