However the average arrivals for the post pandemic 4 year period is less than the pre pandemic 4 year period arrivals.
On the other hand arrivals are spiking for a number of reasons.
I think some of the people living in tents might not be able to afford the rent increases that the market has been asking for lately.
Australia needs much more social housing if rents are to be contained. That will be fine as long as they don't end up building future ghettos.
