Oaks Announce Preferred Partnership with Blue Holidays, the holiday program of the Virgin Blue Group
This is really good and you can see the results already, with Brisbane for example.

Preferred seems to mean that the Oaks hotels are listed at the top and one of only a few choices before conducting a specific search. This means that everyone who books a ticket with Virgin Blue will have the option to go Oaks, and while take-up may be as low as a few percent, it will add up to excellent demand from the partnership. All this could only be possible with IT upgrades that allow integration with third party systems to dynamically know what rooms are available.
