It is very stressful. I think the property can be affordable but always there is push, buy now, buy now and people jump in too soon. Then they want to renovate, furnish and they find it difficult to resist the credit card purchase or the Harvey Norman buy and pay later. So they take a little exra debt and next they know the car has serious breakdown or the hot water system kicks the bucket. Then so stressed out they need a holiday lol.
The worst is losing a job.
It can all snowball quite easily.
