Personally I think bricks are an excellent place to start.
For a robot to bespoke paint a wall inside or outside a house it will need robot eyes.
Also need a lot of fine motor skills to setup the masking of bespoke surfaces not to be painted.
But starting with the walls to 0.5mm accuracy, and everything else can potentially be done to a similar accuracy reducing the bespoke effort required in all those areas which makes the robotics easier to figure out.
