If you are meaning daytraders then you have just lost any sympathy that I had.

Daytraders IMO are like a louse on a dehydrated cow in the middle of a drought

They try to get a free ride without taking a stake in the longterm life of the host

They do not help the company at all.IMO.

Indeed their antics can cause the company irreparable harm by shorting a stock when it is known that the company needs funds.
