As regards gold, please let me dream on a little.

We have had a gold drought for the last 3 months, and now at last some early spring showers have brought out some golden shoots. I am dreaming of gold at $USD 1200 (say $AUD1400) by March 2010 to liven things along.

Since I am overweight with gold shares, I want to celebrate and I will worry about any possible hangover tomorrow.

I have full confidence in governments' abilities to stuff up and I see gold as one way of preserving and accumulating wealth. There seem to be an increasing number of others thinking the same as me all around the world.

But if you have a good reasoned case against gold, then please keep us informed to provide an alternative perspective on the gold forum.

ctindale and tony999 have been the main naysayers on the gold forum, and since they are having a rest perhaps you could be their replacement.
