If you could take the time to look at various mining companies JORC resource statements in the district of which that they have to apply a bulk density according to the code of reporting, I don't think you will find any which have a SG of 1.98, you will probably find that the lowest SG is for oxide deposits which should still be around the 2.2 mark.
