Here's what I hope hasn't happened - In the past 8 months Sumitomo have been wining and dining the landowners, offering heaps more than they did previously - lets not forget how big Sumitomo is. If we do have to apply for a re-tender, I don't believe it will be as straightforward as some here think. It wouldn't be hard to throw some coin around in the Solomon Islands to get what you want.
Why would Sumitomo have appealed what seemed like a definitive decision if they didn't have a plan up their sleeve?
As I said, hopefully the landowners just back AVQ again but I wouldn't be surprised if they've flipped around.
