Maybe.....
But if I had just sold my house (my biggest asset), which was converted into cash, I had a young family and had worked 20 years to accumulate that wealth and I put ALL that wealth into one investment, I would want to make damm sure the investment was as safe as (dare I say it) houses.
This is not a matter of being right with the benefit of hindsight, but rather taking prudent and responsible risks with your wealth.
