Personally I would think that a DOCA via OP would be very messy for all parties involved.
If ANZ wants all the legal issue to go away, they are best to settle with the parties/clients directly and have them sign future litigation waivers, that is the only way to stop litigation from clients.
I think ANZ may realise that the matter goes much deeper that just its realtionship with OP and its pref payments.
Guess we will just have to wait and see.
