That's right, anybody can speculate, especially about gold. We will just have to wait for the facts.

On the other hand, I too find it strangely re-assuring that so few shares have come onto the market the last few months, regardless of the decline. And of course I wish I had more now.

Anyway, my speculation is that the company is undergoing a process of maturation; no more sideshows, no more bravado, just boring old making money. With the share price where it was five years ago, it won't help the cause if some old Adelaide money decides to jump ship because there is no substance to the havilah dream .
