Its a tough business environment. Energy company profits are down. No one is paying the prices they were a year ago. Exploration budgets have been reduced. The real economy is not out of the doldrums as yet.
Hence negotiations are much tougher and the stakes are higher because of the real market and imo its about $negotiations.
The qtrly report and its content could have come out a week ago or even yesterday or this morning.
It came out at the last regulatory time because negotiations are ongoing and because it must have been very close.
Interestingly, although the Xchange is closed for the weekend, imo negotiations are not going to stop.
So! Trading halt first thing Monday morning? followed by announcement? Tantalising and a maybe.
And I bet DBZ is right in there assisting on CTP's side.
