Just to put your minds at ease, the Statesman is still made in Australia and exported to several countries including China. It's just that the Chinese exports are sent to them in a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) configuration, meaning they assemble them from already made up components and not from scratch. They are then sold on their own market,
none come back to Australia, all of our Statemans (and Commodores) are made in Adelaide.
