Evans & Tate's (ETW.AU) main banker, ANZ (ANZ.AU), which is
owed an estimated A$100 million, declines comment on winemaker; ANZ spokesman says bank
can't comment on customer business. Earlier Tuesday, ETW placed shares in trading
halt pending statement later today, raising nervousness of investors. ETW officials
can't be contacted, although company has tried unsuccessfully to play down
suggestions of deep financial troubles over last week.
