You are dead right. That was a real case in point that sometime one can't take what they say for granted.
Not unless it has been lodged in the market for everyone to see as a formal Announcement, and where it is on record for future references.

I think that any notices/opinions, they should come from them in writing, and not just telling someone in private.

By the way KingC et all, I have just made some research with "AEGYS RESEARCH" and they state that they do not make any recommendations on this stock, but they list as seven brokers giving their opinions.

And they are:

1) Four Brokers OUTPERFORMED, and
2) Three Brokers as BUY.
