just spoke to peter batten

Called during the latest drop to 80.5 and spoke to peter, similar to other calls (very accommodating if you want to call):

* Large Sellers .. expected volume should have been soaked by now
* Savannah ... still not responded .. was due July 9th ... interesting point that might be reason for the delay and maybe the fact that they won't proceed ... is that if they now respond and take this to trial savannah will be responsible for BMN (and assume namibian governments) legal costs if they lose ... Peter said their costs were significant

* No announcement to counter rumours .... they have approached ASX about making an announcement but apparently are not allowed to announce "opinion".

* Funds ... again said they are being approached ... won't need the money until march 2009 anyway

He sounded amazed at the drop and reassured that the project was progressing well.

I think most of the selling now is forced and panic selling, but who knows.
