I don't have specific tips for you but I will add that you should make use of the 'search forums' function before investing in any company. Don't just look at the last couple weeks - go back right through the post history of the share and you can generally find a lot of info provided you have a very good BS filter. Also, you can search on the individual posters which can be very 'revealing'...
You should also search the other share forums, google, etc for any and all info you can find on companies you're thinking of getting into.
The books CK listed are very good if you are thinking long term and understand the key concept of patience (so many on HC lack it)
