When to sell?

Easy question to answer, when you need money.

Before that time, its money in the Bank so to speak, and during that in the Bank time there will be big ups and big downs, however if the investor was to ride to bumps the rewards would be, beautiful, generally.

Normally I keep stocks, many, many years and the rewards speak for themselves.

A couple of examples, I've had nab from about $7 or under or something like that, BHP, $8 or 9. etc....... and they just keep growing, bigger and better, over the years. Sure, if you look at a weekly, they have their bumpy days, but overal, they grow. And all without me doing a thing.

Then, if we add the dividens,....... today, at today's prices they may show 3 percent, but what happens when you buy for a third that cost, the div is really about 9% or more and if you buy Companies paying a Fully Franked div, the div is worth a heck of a lot more.

Just a thought or two.
