Actually, when i said i hadnt looked at it, i had, but wasnt sure how to interpret the previous month, this month has trended the same way, so two data points in a row have more significance.
And i should point out CPI is all drug prices, generic and branded. If generic sales volume increased and branded decreased, the overall CPI could still decrease and be good for generics. So it has limited use for companies that are heavy into one or the other.
